What's the healthiest least damaging way to use a hair iron?

Wet, damp, or dry hair?

Right after showering, or the next day?

Use cream on dry hair or not?

Important hair products?

etc. What's the healthiest least damaging way to use a hair iron?
Never use a straightening on damp or wet hair. When your hair is wet, it is more prone to breakage which will lead to unhealthy, frizzy hair. Also, use a heat protection spray or straightening serum. I recommend the got2b crazy sleek lotion, Tresemme Heat Tamer spray, S-Factor spray, etc. Also, try the Fantasia Straightening serum because those products will protect your hair will the heat and make it healthier.

It doesn't matter when you flat iron your hair really.. just make sure it's dryWhat's the healthiest least damaging way to use a hair iron?
always do it on dry hair because if not, it will fry wet hair into getting dry..not cool

do it after you shower rather than the next day because your ends will be more dry the longer you wait after conditioning, let it air dry majority of the way and blow dry the rest, which will allow the hair to still retain some moisture without doing its own thing completely

always use a serum, it will help your hair stay smooth, and actually LOOK healthy too

there are also products specially designed to work with the heat to reduce damage

always use condidtioner in the shower!!

1. Condition really well.

2. Avoid blow drying and ironing your hair. I like to wash my hair the night before and iron it in the morning. It even looks better.

3. Don't pass the iron through a stips of hair more than 2 times, 3 the max.

4. When passing the iron on a strip of hair don't slide too slow or hold it in place.

5. Between each time you pass the iron through a strip of hair, shake your hair right after to get the heat off a little. Then pass it again. So let the strip cool a little in between.

6. If you are going to use product on your hair make sure it's alcohal free. You should never put alcohal in your hair.

Good Luck!! Sorry for writing alot. My hair is a big deal to me so I guess I got a little excited lol
As long as your hair is dry and you use a heat protector.
