Straightening hair iron?

I heard many people like ChI iron but I heard that CHI iron fry a little bit. I saw the website called BIO IONIC and it straight really fast. I have the nano silver by conair with pin in it and it also seen on tv. They burn so bad and my hair start to get more damaged and dry. I want a good straight iron because my hair is thick wavy, dry/damaged and split end, I already cut my hair a few week ago so it back on.Straightening hair iron?
The absolute best irons are GHD's

I've had mine for 3 years and it still works just as well as the day i got it.

They are expensive because they are professional irons but they save you lots of money in the long run because they last so long.

It's a reallly good investment. I absolutely love mine. My hair is thick and wavy and my GHD cuts my straightening time in half and keeps my hair straight for 3 days without touch ups. I love itt.

: )Straightening hair iron?
It all depends on person. I like the Solia, Sedu and GHD irons.

the GHD is one of the best, but also cost upwards of 200 dollars. They're great on all types of hair, but personally, i would never have that type of money on my budget, but hey if do, it's a great iron:

The Sedu is inbetween the GHD and the Solia. It runs about 120-180, depending on what model you get and where, and what size. It's a really great and portable iron, but to me, it's still a little pricy for what you get:

My favorite iron is the Solia iron. It's affordable (usually 70-100), works just as well as the others, and leaves you with soft, shiny, healthy hair. It straightens, flips, and curls like a dream, and it's decently portable, but a little on the heavier side, which is good because it helps your hair straighten more efficently:

and with any iron, no matter what price, i recommend buying a heat protecting spray, and any brand will work.If you like shine, BEYOND THE ZONE at sally's beauty supply is a great spray, it protects, leaves your hair soft and shiny:

If you have more of a budget, a really popluar spray is the CHI iron guard:

If you don't have these avaliable near you, Dove, Tresemme, VO5, and pantene all make heat protecting sprays, which can be found anywhere hairproducts are sold.

good luck!
i had the same issue a while ago. i went through like four straighteners.. i finally got a Kiyoseki and it works really well. it's around $120. carmen electra uses it.
Look for hair straighteners that have some kind of conditioning plates or have special heat plate things on them that say they are good for your hair. Actually, you should check your local WalMart because i was just there today looking for a new straightener and they had some really nice ones that kept your hair as healthy as possible. Also, use some heat protection spray too.
