Is this correct? Concerning my curling hair iron.?

I used it today for the first time, and in like 4min, it was molten hot. It hurt to touch it and all.


Is it usual?

Honey..must not know much about hair huh!? ANY KIND OF STRAIGHTENER, CURLING IRON, OR BLOWDRYER adds damge to your hair..some more than others (like your from the sounds of it) If you bought it w/in 30 days i WOuld return it and try something else..or if there is an option on it to turn it down you might want to try that...with it being THAT hot..imagine putting your hair to it!?!? Thats' why some people have fried hair!
