Chi's are excellent. Hair straighteners are never good for your hair, but using heat protectant spray and not using the straightener every day will help keep your hair healthy. I'd suggest getting a Chi, but be warned, they are among the most expensive of hair straighteners, and you can find ones that work nicely for around $40 at any hair store or beauty salon. The Chi is defiantly the best one that I have found. Some people can get away with using the cheaper ones, but with my thick hair, the Chi is the only one that will do the job and not end up looking frizzy. I know Target and Ulta sell them. They also carry a heat protecting that you can use, but I think it is pretty expensive. (You can find similar products at Wal-Mart or Target for much less).


I would suggest that if you do straighten your hair everyday, to get regular trims and deep conditioning to your hair to lessen the damage.
sweetie...most people use a flat iron every single day. the chi is supposedly the best one ive hear of..but its also like 150 bucks. so if you can afford it, buy it because it works really well and its ceramic...ceramic is less damaging than anything else. you can get the chi at like target.
Chi is the best one you can get. I have one and I love it!
