no, it would only last until you wash it.. water breaks the hydrogen bonds in your hair.. the only way it would stay straight is if you had a relaxer.. but thats until you'd cut it out. im not sure if your hair is short or long, but if it's long, try putting it into a bun before you go to bed that way it keeps your hair neat while you sleep and you wouldnt have to wash it the next day.. but make sure if you do that wear a shower cap in the shower, and make it quick bc the humidity would bounce it back up.

i agree to the first answer. Once your hair is washed,that's it. Professional striaghtening needs a lot of attention and if not maintained properly, it's worse that your actual look. It's expensive too. I feel, hair ironing is better. whenever u have an function,just iron your hair and leave. Looks great with less cost too...
