Talk to it slowly and soothingly. How do i calm my hair when my hair iron doesnt work to make it straight?
do u use conditioner after shampoo? try applying hair serum before straightening as well... and dont use flat iron while ur hair is wet... hope i helped a little :)
Here's a few tips for beautiful soft hair:
1. Wash: Don't wash hair too often because it will become dry. 2 or 3 times a week max. Comb it before washing to get rid of knots. Be gentle while scrubbing to avoid tangles.
2. Shampoo: Don't go against nature! If your hair is curly, use a shampoo for curly hair. Don't use one to make it ';sleek and straight';. Do use a conditioner for your type of hair too. For curly/wavy hair, try Redken's Fresh Curls. It's really good.
3. Leave-in treatment: A couple products that are fantastic. They tame my wild frizzy mane like you wouldn't believe! FHI Heat Hot Sauce and CHI Silk Infusion. Apply on damp hair.
4. Drying: don't comb your hair if it doesn't need to be, especially for curly hair. This will allow the natural curls to reform and avoid frizz. Air-dry until hair is half dry. Then blow dry using your fingers until the hair is about 80% dry - keep the low setting so as not to destroy your natural curl patterns. Fully- or over-drying will make hair frizzy and dry. Tie it up until fully dry. If you want to achieve a straight look, use a flat iron on the dry hair - in this case, a bristle brush can be used during the blowdrying process. Finish off with a little bit of serum on the length.
Hope this works for you! It took me years to figure out how to manage my hair. The key is to use products that work with your natural hair type, and not against it! :)
