GHD IV styler !
It can straighten and curl. It uses
Although it's over your budget, it's absolutely worth it !
It heats up at 400 degrees in 30 seconds and it doesn't burn your hair as much as other straighteners.
Sephora's Description:
What it does:
The unique ceramic technology heats up to its maximum temperature in seconds and locks in moisture, natural oils, and hair color for total hair protection. The new ghd styler makes it even easier to create curls, twists, flicks, and waves, while retaining its unrivalled ability to achieve straight and sleek hair.
New features and benefits:
-New, improved body shape facilitates curling effects as well as straight styling.
-Improved circuitry maintains a more constant styling temperature. The iron heats up to its maximum temperature every millisecond ensuring optimum heat on the hair from root to tip.
-Sleep mode function automatically switches iron off if it is not used for 30 minutes.
-Universal voltage feature operates from 110V to 230V by sensing the incoming voltage, making it great for travelers.
-Outer casting is made from Rynite庐, a fire-retardant material that ensures the outer casting does not get too hot when you're styling hair or handling the product.
-Includes an instructional DVD.
High performance properties:
-Designed to create curls, twists, flicks, and waves, as well as straighten the hair.
-Ceramic-coated aluminum plates help seal the cuticle and create shine while locking in hair's natural moisture, preventing atmospheric moisture from re-penetrating hair.
-Emits a large proportion of infrared heat and negative ions, both of which are less damaging to the hair, reducing static and creating shine by closing the cuticle.
-Conventional irons use PTC or copper-wound elements, which are less efficient at emitting infrared heat and negative ions and can dry out the hair.
-A 9-foot swivel cord prevents tangling and damage.
-Floating blades provide flexibility and smoothness when styling.
-A built-in microprocessor embedded in one of the blades monitors and regulates the blade temperature 5 times a second.
-If the temperature exceeds its maximum regulated temperature, the thermal fuse will blow, resulting in the iron switching off.
-The thermal fuse is a safety feature to prevent the iron from overheatingWhich hair iron to buy?
i have a CHI, actually 2 of them.
i have a generic brand one.
and i have a GVP one.
in all honesty, the Generic Value Product one works far better.
my hair is strange though, its frizzy and super curly.
given ive only had the GVP one for 3 months, but even when my CHI was new it didnt work this well.
and the generic ones run 30-45, you can get one at sally, possibly even walmart.
the generic brand and CHI worked about the same, well but not as good as the other.
chis are fairly expensive.
generic ones are about 25-50.
(:
p.s. invest in a good heat protector spray.
most work well.
however the CHI one makes my hair hard.
heres the videos to kiyoseki..i think its kinda expensive n it seems to work just as good as chi n ghd...

if u want to know what iron to get then
CHI n GHD's are best! get one of them! and no they aren't 100 to 200 dollars if u order online...i got my chi turbo for 87 dollars at amazon.com
and at ioffer.com the chi's cost from 29.99 to 50 dollars..they are authentic not replica's.(some are replicas so ask the seller first but most arent)
and can u believe ghd's at that site only cost 16.00 dollars? once shipping is added its like 60 something... that is still cheap for such a great salon product!! .at salons its 200 to 400 dollars!!
