chi? but i've read that it breaks easily and has a one year warranty
is solia the same thing?Solia hair iron?
I have used, chi, solia, and sedu. Chi does break easily, and it DAMAGES the most than solia and Sedu. Solia is a better for your hair. I also believe that Solia straightens better too! Go to folica.com and see it for yourself!Solia hair iron?
Good infomation i have also blog solia hair iron, http://solia-hair-iron.blogspot.com

My sister and my hairdresser were telling me that I needed to purchase a flat iron. They said this was the way of future and I needed to quit using my curling iron to try to straighten my hair. My hairdresser recommended Solia. it was the best purchase that I have made in a long time. I am amazed at how straight my hair is and I have not touched my curling iron in about two weeks. I love my new Solia flat iron.
My hair stylist/dresser uses Solia on me, and I don't think my hair comes out as well as my Farouk Chi. It's kinda crapy, and damaging in my opinion. The plates are ceramic coated metal I think? So I don't recomend it! The Farouk Chi has ceramic rods and my hair comes out smooth and soft to the touch,
The Farouk Chi is a good value only $69 bucks--you can't beat it. But it the only thing is you can't control the tempature--it may be a problem particularly if you have thick hair? It may not straighten it as well, or it will take a long time. But if you have thin/fine hair like me it's perfect!
But the absolute best--I just purchased from a friend--The GHD hair straightner. EXPENSIVE($250 bucks)...but it is the BEST. I just let my hair air-dry and...I just run it through my hair! Cuts down the time doing you hair! --This will be better if you have thick hair, my friend does and she uses this.. as well. You can buy this from Sephora.--also well made..isn't as flimsy as my Chi!
--Not sure about the warranty because I bought this from a friend.(the plates were to small.. she bought the larger one) But you can always check? I do believe it has one though.
Hope this helps=)

Solia is cheaper and is pretty much the same thing,but I would say a CHI would be best.
Good Luck!=D
