I recently bought a nexxtech foreign travel AC adapter with a capacity of 1600W. It says that it should not be used with things such as auto start/shut off irons, any electronically controlled heating appliances... and some other stuff. The thing I'm concerned with is, does that mean I can't use my hair straightener (iron)?Nexxtech travel AC adapter okay to use with hair iron?
I should mean higher power rating appliances. It should work with your hair straightener.
