I have fine hair, will a hair iron make my hair too limp and flat?

I have fine hair that I try to pump up by using volumizers and hot rollers and then just shaking out the loose curls. I am interested in getting a flat iron to try different styles; I especially like the type of curls they can create. I know I can pull up when I run the iron over my hair to create more volume, but will this ultimately flatten my hair too much? I hate it when my hair is flat and limp...I have fine hair, will a hair iron make my hair too limp and flat?
I have fine hair too. I have found out using a flat iron adds fullness to my hair. The trick is to hang your head down and straighten the underside first I hoped this helpsI have fine hair, will a hair iron make my hair too limp and flat?
um well i don't it will too much but if your hair is fine my friend's is, not put in any like straightnening creme, spray etc. beacuse it makes it flat and greasy looking, it's gross so just stick to the iron and it should be fine
It will flatten it some, but if you use a volumizer before or/and after then you should look good. TiGi Bedhead Superstar is a great volumizer to use on wet hair. Then use another one for dry hair.
