The instructions of the hair iron clearly state that the hair has to be completely dry before using the iron.
On the other hand, the heat protection spray says to apply the spray right before using the iron (which wets the hair).
So when's the best time to apply the heat protection spray?Heat protection and hair iron?
No offense to the above answer, but I apply my protector when my hair is wet, before I dry it with the hair dryer and I have super soft and healthy hair. Give both a try for a while and see which results help you the most (:Heat protection and hair iron?
spray it on each section before applying the iron. if it wets it a little, that's fine. it's protecting your hair so don't worry.
