If you can find a converter with the correct wattage you should be all right, but the problem is with heating appliances you need more than the usual travel converters supply. Check the specs on your appliance and choose your device carefully, and you should be all right. However the more energy involved, the more expensive the converter you need will be.CHI Turbo Hair Iron - %26gt;WORKS OVERSEAS?

Do not use any curling iron, or especially that expensive CHI overseas. Your best bet is to buy a cheap on when you are over there. I once burned a whole section of my hair off by using a curling iron in England. I had a converter. In a few seconds, I smelled buring hair and the whole section I was trying to curl burned to the ireon.
They just heat up too hot to use. My friend clued me in to just buy a cheap on on the road. If you can live without, then you might try to do without.
