good luck!
Chi, it's the best.
The CHI flatiron rocks!!!!! They have several sizes but they cost about 99.00 to 189.00 But in my opinion they are the best and really straighten without having to go over and over again.

I use one in my salon and I haven't had to waste time going over hair to achieve the look. also I have had mine for about 4 years with no worries,
get a chi, they sell them at most salons.

they're sorta pricey but they wrk magic. i have sholder length hair and i can straighten it in 5 minutes flat.
if you got cash flow go with a chi

if not go to walmart %26amp; get the black durabrand straightener its black looks like a chi metal plates %26amp; it has a oval with a D on it its $20. its what i use anyway...

i have jerry curls %26amp; its makes in pin stright

this site has some good hair straightners.

i used to use global beauty and it was amazing.

now i use sedu which is also amazing.

i think they're both about $100-$150.

it's a good investment because it lasts for at least a year and makes your hair perfectly stick straight!
Maybe you need a ceramic flat iron they normally get ur hir very straight.

I will suggest the brand Gold N' Hot

But there are many other s to choose from

Also dont forget when straightening your hair to use a hair protectant spray or moisturizer!!!!!!!
Definately a CHI or GhD :]
I've tried a few different ones...Currently I have a Chi...However, I believe the shampoo, conditioner and product you use to protect and help straighten your hair has a lot to do with how straight it will get...You may have to go over your whole head twice....Please treat your hair carefully! Let it air dry if possible, then iron it a small section at a time...If you must blow dry, dry it gently in downward strokes...It takes patience, practice and great care not to damage your hair! I use shampoo and conditioner by TiGi and then I put a small amount of frizz serum in my hands, rub them together and then through my hair. I avoid my scalp so my hair doesn't look greasy. I sometimes use a leave in conditioner as well...You really have to judge that one by your own hair--for example, is it excessively dry? If so, definitely use a leave-in and/or once a week use a heavy duty special conditioner for damaged hair...
