My hair is very fine and very straight. Which shampoos, conditioners, mousse products and hair irons?

The best advice I can give is to simply wear your hair in a ponytail every day - it will give your face a lift and it will stay out of your way. You won't have to worry about styling it, except to maybe the curl the ';tail'; part and you can do this everyday until it reaches the length you're looking for or until you find a way to style it properly.

I don't recommend sleeping on damp hair - everybody wakes up in the morning smelling like ';sleep'; - unless you want to smell like this all day long, it is highly wise to shower in the morning and wash your hair then.

Best thing about a ponytail is that it really saves time - it cuts your styling to nil and then you don't have to overuse products like hairspray and so forth. My hair is very fine and very straight. Which shampoos, conditioners, mousse products and hair irons?
My hair is very thin and wavy!! Grrr.

You should try out Ice white volumising shampoo and conditioner
I would not use hair irons on fine hair! Fine hair is more fragile than medium or coarse hair, and can get more easily damaged.

Your hair may need to be washed more often than coarse or medium hair, depending on how long it is. Also, some conditioners and products with silicone (anything ending in ';-one'; or ';-cone';) may weigh down or even dry out your hair.

I have fine, wavy hair and find that sleeping with it damp gives maximum ';volume'; because it brings my wave out. You might also want to try (occasional)blowdrying on low heat with your head upside down, focusing on drying the roots. Don't dry your hair on high temperature or put heat on the ends - this will also damage fine hair.

Fine hair needs moisture to look good but not too much - getting to know what your hair needs will help you figure out how to get it to do what you want.

I suggest doing a Google search and also checking out the Long Hair Community for information hair product companies won't tell you.

good luck!
