Is the GHD or the Solia a better hair iron?

What is the better hair iron between the GHD and the Solia? I see that the GHD is not widely used in the USA and it is very expensive. I've heard that the Solia is also a good brand, at almost half the price. Are the two comparable?

I am mixed race, my hair is naturally curly (wavey).Is the GHD or the Solia a better hair iron?
GHD's are the best iron on the market (around the world). They are actually quite amazing. You'll find about 85% of hairdressing salons around the world use GHD irons. I'm a hairdresser so I'm seen every type of hair (from naturally fantastic to the worst) The GHD's heats up in seconds. They straighten the hair and you can leave it straight for ages. I use it too and I leave it straight for 1 or 2 weeks. (My hair is the worst! It's horrible natural hair its wavy and curls but yet very frizzy at the sometime. You would never know it if you saw my hair tho.) That's how amazing GHD's are.You can even get a really nice curl your hair using the irons. That last for days. I don't know much about the GHD, but I do own a Solia. I have extremely curly hair and I straighten my hair all the time. My Solia straightens my hair very nicely, better than most flat irons such as the Sedu could have :] Its worth so much more than what its priced; seriously, that flat iron is awesome. Take my word for it.
I have never used the solia (or heard of it) but i have the GHD's and there amazing. I have horrible natural hair its between waves and curls but is just frizz. I swear it works amazingly. Heats up in seconds and i couldn't live without it. My hair stays straight for ages after using it.
