Any good hair styling products if you want to straighten and curl your hair?

hi guys!!! so i got a flat iron for christmas and it can also curl your hair. i heard that you should spray something in your hair so your hair won't get burned or dry. do you know any good and cheap ones?? preferably from target too?? also any good hairsprays so it will hold all day?? i heard pantene and garnier are good all-day hold hairsprays. Please help me!! i'm new to this hairstyling thing. BTW MY HAIR IS BLACK AND PRETTY MUCH LIKE ASIAN HAIR.Any good hair styling products if you want to straighten and curl your hair?

I think that you should use tressemme Ultra Fine Mist Hairspray. it hold hair but gives it a flexible hold so that you could still comb it. If you want it to not move then you should get the tressememe Freeze and Control Hair Spray. I have both and i use them wehnever i curl or straightnen my hair.

Please help! Hair styling products for fine, frizzy, & wavy hair?

I already use shampoo and conditioner for wavy/ curly hair but now i need a styling product. I'm sick of straighting it and would like a product that i can use while my hair is wet ( styling product)..that will help define the waves in my hair. Something that will give me that beachy wavy hair look.



Ive tried too many products that are too heavy for my fine hair and end up making my hair look greasy.



I would prefer some type of mousse or gel or anything i guess..

American Crew Hair Styling Products for Men Question...?

I normally have short-medium hair (2-4';). I am looking for a product that is not so hard to the touch, but at the same time a product that will hold my hair up for the whole day and for the most part not change style. I have previously used the American Crew Firm Hold as well as the Light Hold Gel. These two work great for hold and shine however, it become really hard and I want to go down a notch a little bit from the stiffness of the hair gels, glues, etc...I was looking on the website and some products that American Crew has are Pomade, molding creme, molding clay, foaming creme, etc. I do not know the difference between these and I am wondering if one of these would be what I am looking for: a product for short-medium hair, excellent hold, low-medium shine, soft to the touch, light on the head. My hair is very straight but is not very thin nor is it very thick and crazy...it is in the middle. Thanks! i have honestly never even heard of american crew





but you can buy a wax or a pomade at the drug store for a decent price. the pomades, wax, clay etc are all pretty similar.





i think clay will have the most hold - but i've never used clay personally, then wax, then pomade.

I'm a guy and I straighten my thick wavy hair.





But I've never found a hair-styling product that I liked; they're always too water-based so they curl it back to normal, or they just don't hold well enough.





I like to style it up and all over the place (kind messy and of Anime-ish).





I currently use Dax - the red tub - which is a wax that works great, but now that my hair is getting a little longer it doesn't hold as well.





Does anyone have any recommendations? I'm looking for a styling product (wax/serum/ANYTHING) that I can use 'after' I've straightened my hair that won't curl it back and that holds well.Good hair styling products for short straightened hair?

Okay, so my guyfriends always do their head in Anime-ish style, and they use something Got2Be waxes. I heard they work really well.





Also, if you visit an asian hair salon, there's this product called Gaspie. (or something like that.) Apparently, the waxes work super well.
