First, you didn't say what you want the product to do? But, if you try Mousse instead of gel, that might work.

Hair styling products???
I'm looking to style my hair with a product that won't give that wet clumped look like Gel does, i want it to look naturally styled and dry but strong enough so my hair doesn't hang on my forehead as i can't stand it.
Thanks all.Hair styling products???
Hi there
Have you tried tigi products?
They are fab!! not only will they give you all day hold but most of the products can also be brushed out!
Another fab product that my partner uses is D.F.I b y american crew- Its has a lovely smell and his hair syays put but without the stick hard feeling most waxes tend to do
Hope this helps xxHair styling products???
One word: Pomade. There are many different kinds. Look at the link for some of them...
try a gell wax look for a matt finish one it will hold your hair with a dry look and wont be clumpy unless you style it that way.. just be carefull with how much you use... good luck ..

My avatar's hair style/product?
Hey guys;
How would I go about getting hair like my avatar? What would I ask for at a salon? Also, what could I use to style it? I hate the wet, greasy look of gel...My avatar's hair style/product?
Well it shouldn't be too hard since it's very common. It's best to find a picture to print and show to your stylist, but if not, it seems to be a bout 2 inches in length around the fringe and top, but the sides seem to shorten gradually. To style it, use hair clay or molding putty if you don't like gel.My avatar's hair style/product?
just print the page that your avatar is on and give it to the salon and see it they can do things from there or look at magazines and stuff to see if other people got that same hair style.
MOOSE?
GEL?
fibre putty, the greatest gel alternative in the world
ask for a choppy/messy but smooth sort of look (confused u?lol) and maybe kinda describe what look u want. dont like gel? try surf wax. just go easy on it tho. dont want a look that looks like u've used glue

Does anybody know a good hair style product ??
ive tryed everything on my hair like mouse, straightning balm, wax, and it dont seam to stay up ? i like my hair quite messy but straight, like they do on the adverts for vo5 i think thats the ad anyway.i got short thick wavy hair so its quite hard to manage...any advice would be great thanxDoes anybody know a good hair style product ??
My hair is thick and wavy too. It's really hard to find something to control the unruly hair. I find that salon products make all the difference. I know that are expensive but in the long run it is work it. I really enjoy the Matrix line, I use the Color.Smart line. If you are looking for straighter hair Sleek Look is a great line by them. I also suggest investing in a really good hair straightner, like one from a salon quality store or Sally's beauty supply. Good luck.Does anybody know a good hair style product ??
check those on http://hairstyle.fateback.com

What hair style product is this person using?
I kinda want to grow out my hair like this... or maybe shorter but im trying to figure out what this person is using on his hair. Is it just hair spray? or a type of hair wax... or what! His hair looks really soft and not hard n shiny like wax or gel.... what could it be?
http://i11.photobucket.com/albums/a166/mskenshin/how.jpgWhat hair style product is this person using?
That looks like it is a combination of products and techniques. Probably a styling creme followed by blow-drying with a round brush, then a flattening iron, finished with a dryer wax product (like sumo tech by bumble and bumble) and spray. This style probably works best if your hair isn't too thick.

How to purposely get greasy hair or alternative hair style product?
i actually like the way my hair looks when i dont do anything with it and its greasy looking. it just sits perfectly and looks good on me. my hair looks alot like my avatar and everytime i use defining cream and style it, my hair would be hard and the ends would poke my head and it annoys the crap out of me. so how do i purposely get greasy hair or is there a style product that isnt really stiff at all but kind of hards it in place?
thanks aheadHow to purposely get greasy hair or alternative hair style product?
Either Sexy Hair Play Dirty spray wax or Sexy Hair Slept In texture cream. If you stop by a Trade Secret/Beauty Express or similar store, they usually have testers you can try out. The Slept In has more hold but is still pliable and re-workable, and the Play Dirty mostly just gives you that good dirty hair texture. How to purposely get greasy hair or alternative hair style product?
Don't do anything with it. You said yourself that's how you think it looks best...
help me? http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?/a>
Don't wash your hair. Then you will achieve the greasy hairstyle you are after.
Wax???
use alot of hair serum

What are some good hair styling products?
so i am getting fired soon [store is shutting down, everyone gets fired.] and i figure im a teenager, im gonna blow my whole paycheck on hair products, makeup, perfume, clothes, etc. lol.
so what are some good hair products that make your hair look extra nice? anything you've used? i have stick straight, medium length, layered hair btw.
thanks =]What are some good hair styling products?
My favorite is Fekkai Glossing products. I use it for straight hair and it makes my hair shiny and healthy looking. Kinda of miracle since my hair is colortreated and heat styled daily.
It's a little high priced, but you can pick up small bottles at Bath and Body Shop, just to give it a try. Also a tube of glossing cream will last a long, long time.
HTHWhat are some good hair styling products?
well i also have very strait hair... and so i dont use hairspray or gel or anything...
i absoutly LOVE frutice products... there is the oil one in the little round bottle.. but my fav is the other spray... its not oily like the other one... it is the cheapest too... but it makes my hair shine like nothing else... its the small spray bottle and looks like just water
Paul Michael is a top line. I would go to Macy's and spend like it was a fire sale! oh and remember, Macy's will give you a added 10% off if you ask for it or apply for a Credit Card.mask making

Hair styling products?
which has the best hair styling products: aveda, matrix, paul mitchell, or nexxus?Hair styling products?
Yeah, I would have to say Redken. Aveda makes really good products that smell awesome and are quite soothing!! But Paul Mitchell is probably the best one from your list, because they offer products for shinier, fuller, color-treated, ect. hair. Nexxus and Matrix are OK brands.Hair styling products?
Paul Mitchell
I vote Paul Mitchell. But really it's Redken, but you didn't list it.
It depends on your hair type and what you need out of the product.
i think paul mitchell is the best one *
paul mitchel is good but i think the aussie and redken are better. you just didnt list them

Hair wax, or paste like Redkins rewind or matrix styling wax.
Please add me to your contacts and email me w/ any hair questions you have via yahoo answers. In This Picture of Kenny Johnson, What Hair/Styling Product is It?
I'm going to have to go with hair wax. Like Bed Head.
http://tigihaircare.us/tigi/bedhead/arch/a>
probably hair glue..or hair gel.
my guess is gel. it looks hard and shiny, so it probably isn't mousse or a styling paste. i would try american crew firm hold gel.

Who can help me with a new hair styling product?
I'm currently using Aveda Control Paste, but to be honest, it's not as good as I remember it.
This is my hair style, but lately it's not looking as good since I bought a new tub of it!
http://i431.photobucket.com/albums/qq36//a>
http://i431.photobucket.com/albums/qq36//a>
Can anyone suggest a new product?
Price is not an issue, considering the Aveda one is usually about 拢18 a pot plus.
I've been looking into the Tigi Bedhead range.
What about the Manipulator or the Hard to Get paste?
Baring in mind however I want to product to be hard in the tub if you get me, so I can work it in my hand, and then into my hair.. I don't want soft gloopy sh*t!
THANKS!!

I need help choosing out a hair styling product!? (I'm a guy)?
I have curly, short (about 1 3/4 in.), brown, dry, thick, frizzy hair. lol. I'm a swimmer so im constantly in chlorine but i do shower immediately after wards. I need help choosing a styling gel/cream/paste whatever you want to call it. I want one that's strong and will keep my hair styled throughout the day and something that doesn't look like its gel...like it doesn't get my hair all dry and crusty and shiny. It would also really help if what you recommend i can buy at Walmart (cuz its close to me hehe). THANKS!I need help choosing out a hair styling product!? (I'm a guy)?
Go to walmart and get Any of the Redken paste like materials it is not gel so it will not flake or you can try a sculpting mud by cost cutters but not evry wal mart has a cost cutters some have smart stylesI need help choosing out a hair styling product!? (I'm a guy)?
you shud use some moose.. tht always helps meh !
I suggest Fx Special Effects Molding Hair Wax or FX Special Effects Molding Wax Pliable Hair Wax,Flexible Hold. Both will style hair for an all day style, and since it's wax, it even can hold your style up through practice (at least make for easy re-style in case u miss that shower). Both are available at walmart, and both are priced reasonably. However, if I might make another suggestion. Since you are constantly around chlorine, and you state that your hair is thick, dry, and frizzy, you may want to consider using a chlorine stripping shampoo and an intense conditioning treatment. A few to look for are; Agree Swimmers Solution Shampoo and intensive acting Conditioner. They take out the chlorine, prevent the chemical damage, and refortify, condition and strengthen your hair.

Part Two:
I don't know the first thing about hair gel/ mousse or whatever you call it. I don't want the stupid spiky pike look, or the wet look, I just want to have a bit more control over my hair after I've washed it and some other times, so it stays in place how I like it :)

thats the only other picture I have of my hair right now, normally it's splayed outwards at the back more, I guess its a semi generic indie rocker type style but you might disagree haha. What kind of gel is best for me then?
Thank you very much!Does this suit me and what hair styling product? ?

Also, Bumble %26amp; Bumble Sumo Tech is the absolute BEST hair gel in the world. It's hard to find, but you can get it for sure on Amazon.
Good luck, cutie!Does this suit me and what hair styling product? ?
i like th shirt, it would go with a jacket and jeans on u, or AS a jacket..
but i dont think u need gel, if u dont want ur hair spiky.. plus it makes it all sticky, im not a huge fan...
ur better off getting ur hair cut! and if u still want more controll, buy wax, its way better u can buy @ most hairdressers, or say a boots..
hope this helped, even if only veery vaguely..
that is a really really nice shirt, and i think it would suit you.
don't know much about the gel question, but your hair looks great in the second photo anyway!

Which pomade or hair styling product shall I use ? please help !?
hi ladies and guys,
I have a question: I've tried a couple of hair products up to date and am kinda grounded because with none of them did I achieve the effect I was aiming for. Local barbers never seemed to have a broad knowledge about hair products that work for the individual. Rather, they sign a contract with a manufacturer and that they sell to you, no matter the effectiveness.
So anyway, the product I am looking for is something that a.) smells in such way that women are at least not aversed, favorably attracted, b.) does not make my hear look all greasy as though I havent washed it in days and c.) will not let a wind breeze make my hairdo all messy again, a problem I have ALWAYS encountered up to date. Anyone have a suggestion ? Top notch would be a product with which I get results like Zac Efron (sorry for referring to him, but my hair is similar) :
http://www.zac-pictures.com/albums/Photoshoots/2007/Jesus_Aparicio_Photoshoot_HQ/009.jpg
thanks for anybody with clues.Which pomade or hair styling product shall I use ? please help !?
My boyfriend uses Redken Rewind 06 or Align 12. I can vouch for the smell. I like Bumble %26amp; Bumble for myself. Products that are geared towards men are usually available at Trade Secret, Ulta, or whichever salon/retail stores are at the mall. Some of them even have a men's section. Or, ask some of your friends (male %26amp;/or female--with hair that you like) where they get theirs done locally. Go in for a cut %26amp;/or style and let the stylist know that you need help finding the right product. Most places that aren't just affiliated with a brand (i.e. Aveda) should have a broad selection (not to knock Aveda--they have great stuff, too!). Also, you may need to heat-style a bit to get the desired effect.Which pomade or hair styling product shall I use ? please help !?
the got2be brand has some hair products for guys. one of them, i forgot the name, has pheremones, and smells good. try going to your local drugstore like walgreens or cvs, and look on the man hair care aisle. they have a real good selection. i know because i work at one.

Which hair styling product damages hair most, wax, spray, paste or gel etc? opinions are appreciated?
hi there..
i've been styling my hair with wax or spray or gel sort of products for quite some time now.. from brands such as brylcreem, loreal, gatsby and so on...
every now and then, i would get advice from a hair stylist saying this damages ur hair more than this so dont use it and use that...
so i was just wondering,
which damages ur hair? if they all do, which damages hair most and least? wax, spray, reshaper paste, gel etc...?Which hair styling product damages hair most, wax, spray, paste or gel etc? opinions are appreciated?
The real damage comes from removal. Hair products don't actually damage your hair as long as you wash them out regularly.
Water soluble ones like gel, spray come out easily. This is good for hair.
Wax, paste, putty, pomade etc all need quite a bit to remove and so can pull out hair which is not good.
But you are thinking it will make your hair brittle or weak; it won't as long as you take good care of your hair with shampoo's and conditioners.
If your really worried buy the strengthening conditioners and shampoo.Which hair styling product damages hair most, wax, spray, paste or gel etc? opinions are appreciated?
it really depends
hairstylists might tell you that just so you can by the products that the hair salon has to offer
i know that if you put hairspray in your hair and then strighten it, it KILLSSS your hair like crazy
and when you take a shower, make sure to get all the products out and use a good shampoo and conditioner so your hair can get some of the benefits the shampoo has to offer and so it can regain strength back
hope this helps!:)
I wouldnt use most of these over the counter shampoos they contain too much chemicals.
I use YES TO CARROTS and absolutely love it.

Best hair styling product?
Ok, so I'm a guy with short - medium hair length and I want to know which hair styling product I should invest in..
I've tried quite a lot of them and right now I am using Dominate Clay.. I wake up quite early and its freezing cold in the morning in winter, it gets REALLY annoying when I try to get the clay.. I mean I have to DIG IN FOR IT and its so HARD.. And my fingers are already frozen cold.. Dominate clay isnt even that good.. It doesn't really dissolve into the hair so I have like small lumps of it in my hair every now and then and it looks like.. omg wtf is that ****... You know?
So I really want to avoid any clay or whatever until at LEAST late spring..
So does anybody know any good hair styling products?
I want Gatsby but I can't find it anywhere in New Zealand..
I've heard that Garnier Fructis is good but does anybody know a good product of theirs than you can name? I also think that the tresseme hairspray works quite well.. What about their wax or putty or whatever?
Thx!!Best hair styling product?
im a girl so i dontg know how much help id be of but id imagine what works for girls works for boys so id recomend the Garnier long lasting fiber gum or putty it wont freeze up and if by some chance it does try putting the bottle in hot water in the morning to warm and loosen it up, V05 products work well all the drugstore products tend to work about the same. also and if all else failes a friend of mine uses just plain hot wax for his mohawk but i dk if thats the look your trying to achieve lol
good luck

What hair styling product should i use to get these results?
i am a male and my hair is relatively short. about 1 inch top with longer bangs. When i went to get my haircut, my stylist put a product in my hair that made my top stick up but look natural. By natural i mean that it stayed up but it didn't look clumpy or slick/shiny due to the product.
it looked similar to martin of boys like girls's hair cut shown in the following picture

what should i use to get my hair to stay up like that but not look greasy, clumpy, shiny, or completely stiff?
thanks a bunch! What hair styling product should i use to get these results?
possibly tigi bedhead manipulator its pricey and you can find it at kmart sometimes just don't use too much or you'll have a disaster. What hair styling product should i use to get these results?
Hair dressers use the best products and have been trained to use them. You would most likely have to buy the product from your hair dresser and it would be pricey. Also they usually use more than one product at a time.

Hair styling products...?
I was wondering if there is a product which can keep hair heavy, moist, smooth and straight.
I have long hair upto my neck and right when i come out of the shower it's perfectly smooth and stays down. When it dries, it puffs up and gets all messy.
Currently I use some Pantene thingy with conditioner 2 in 1. After my hair dries it puffs up and looks bulgy pretty ugly.
does anyone know if there is a product which can keep my hair moist, striaght and heavy so it does not bulg out.?Hair styling products...?
sunsilk has a leave in conditioner to smooth out kinks and waves to make it straight. i dont know about the heavy and moist part, but experiment with products, you might find one that works well for YOU.mask making
